Trinity Health Director of Development, Organizational Giving in Silver Spring, Maryland

Description:

The Director of Development, Organizational Giving, is responsible for identifying, cultivating soliciting and stewarding institutional major gift donors (primarily foundations and corporations). The role includes implementing and overseeing a comprehensive organizational giving program and ensures the timely submission of grant proposals and reports. This role involves research to identify potential donors as well as the development of tailored fundraising strategies. Building collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders is a priority, as is the effective utilization of grant research programs and CRM software. Works collaboratively in the planning, organizing and implementation of projects and events as assigned.

Education

Bachelor's degree required.

Related Experience

Minimum of 5 years of development experience related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Blackbaud donor database experience preferred.

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of the metropolitan Washington, DC giving community is required. Must have strong leadership abilities and verbal and written communication skills with a keen attention to detail and ability to prioritize projects appropriately. Hybrid and remote work will be considered.
