Description:

The Director of Development, Annual Giving and Engagement will create and manage an annual fund program and support the engagement of high-level campaign volunteers. This role manages a portfolio of approximately 80 donors, focusing on those giving between $1,000-$9,999 annually.

Education

Bachelor's degree required.

Related Experience

At least 5 years of related fundraising experience, with demonstrated knowledge of building successful individual giving programs. Preference given to candidates with experience in healthcare philanthropy. Strong knowledge of individual donor cycles, including identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship. Remote work will be considered, with periodic on-site work in Maryland.

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Must have excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills. Must possess the ability to work with, manage and motivate key volunteers. High degree of literacy with Microsoft Office products and donor database software (Blackbaud experience preferred). Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines. Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds.
