MLWP requires a Sr. Enrollment and Financial Specialist to: to support the Sales and Enrollment Manager and Department by working as an expert advisor and trainer to the enrollment team with primary responsibility for processing intake financial applications for new enrollees to the PACE Organization (PO). The primary objective of this position is to accurately complete, expedite, follow up, report and close the financial application process for a PO Participant by working with the enrollment team as well as the Finance Department. Additionally, this position will effectively communicate and work with the local as well as state agencies as the PO Liaison during the complete application process. This position will also handle intakes and enrollments on an as needed basis as determined by workloads.

Senior Enrollment & Financial Specialist

Position Purpose:

As a Senior Enrollment & Financial Specialist, you will act as an expert advisor and trainer to the enrollment team. Your primary responsibility is to process intake financial applications for new enrollees to the PACE Organization (PO), ensuring accurate, efficient, and timely completion of the application process.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead and support the enrollment team in processing financial applications.

  • Collaborate with the Finance Department to expedite and finalize applications.

  • Communicate with local and state agencies to facilitate the approval process.

  • Handle intake and enrollment tasks as needed.

  • Mentor and train new Enrollment Specialists.

  • Serve as a liaison to the Sales, Finance, and Clinical teams.

  • Develop and maintain referral sources through presentations and in-services.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.

  • At least five years of experience in healthcare, sales, referral development, or PACE.

  • Valid Employee Medical Statement as per North Carolina standards.

  • Strong business acumen and ability to manage conflict.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

  • Willingness to travel up to 10% within the region.
