Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking a Site Administrator for our Ambulatory Surgery Center, located off Ten Mile in Meridian, Idaho.

This Administrator is accountable for leading, guiding, & directing the Surgery Center, under the direction of senior leadership

Directs, deploys & executes the strategies in support of system priorities and strategy. Responsible for driving a culture focused on clinical quality in collaboration with the RHM Leader or RHM CEO and to address internal/external business & regulatory issues.

Responsible for operating performance and achieving financial goals. Identifies, defines & solves complex problems that impact the management & direction of the business. Provides administrative oversight for planning, directing, coordinating, and controlling overall operations and professional/support services of the organization.

Participates in the development and implementation of short-term and long-range goals, objectives and operational plans which will enable the site within the RHM to successfully carryout its strategic plans. Collaborates with RHM to ensure consistency and integration of strategy & operations. Maintaining awareness of new industry developments & standards. Provides decision support, operations &/or optimization leadership focus.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Healthcare Administration or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. A master's degree is preferred.

Must possess at least five years of experience in working in an ambulatory surgery center. Ideal experience includes working with orthopedic surgery. Additional services include ophthalmology, colorectal, and gynecology. Strong preference for leader candidates who have enjoyed solid tenure, have managed dozens of colleagues and abilities to develop and expand market share.

Valid driver’s license where required by assignment.

Additional Qualifications Preferred:

Master's degree in health administration or a related field from a nationally recognized accrediting agency. CASC and/or certification in a professional organization or Process Improvement certifications, strongly preferred.

Essential Functions:

Effectively drives and sustains a zero-patient harm culture. Proactively collaborates with physicians to meet patient needs and exceed patient expectations. Effectively builds and manages a team of high-performing clinicians to deliver excellent patient care.

Developing clinical guidelines and implementing the center's response to the changing healthcare needs of the community

Leadership. Providing advice, guidance and leadership to direct reports in developing strategies and in the achievement of performance goals. Provides teammates with the authority, accountability, training, and resources to achieve their full potential and successfully drive the center's performance

Assesses, attracts, retains and develops internal personnel to meet performance expectations and future infrastructure expansion needs. Provides leadership and guidance to leadership teams, fostering collaborative planning, innovation and decision-making.

Direction and Growth

Provides executive leadership and directly and/or indirectly supervises site operations leaders ensuring the achievement of financial, operational and strategic plans with a focus on excellence in people-centered care in a variety of delivery settings.

Accountable for organic top-line growth via increased volume, strategic service line growth, new physician recruitment, and increasing volume from existing physicians. Initiates, develops and maintains strong physician relationships to support top-line growth, governance, board interests, and trust/confidence in Trinity Health.

Develops and executes short- and long-term strategic plans that drive clinical, financial, and operational results. Partners with VP of Ambulatory Surgery and RHM Leadership to design and implement various growth initiatives and operational effectiveness. Champions change and improvement.

Strategic Support & Accountability

Responsible for market, state & regional integration including service line development and performance excellence. Participates in the selection, evaluation and overall success of the leadership team. Implements and maintains annual strategic business plans that best serves the surgery center and the local market dynamics. Identify and implement best practices related to clinical quality, volume growth, and operational excellence

Operational Delivery

Directs site operations to achieve forecasted results and other financial criteria and to preserve the capital funds invested in the organization. Evaluates financials and workforce management metrics regularly and systematically.

Ensures compliance with applicable accreditation and regulatory guidelines and local, state, and federal laws and regulations. Maintain compliance with governing regulations and the rules of accrediting bodies by monitoring operations and initiating changes where required.

Responsible for the center's P&L, including managing financial controls and reporting. Partners with managed care on facility contracts and ensures cases being done at the ASC are financially viable. Safeguards the Center's assets and ensures that Center's building and/or tenant improvements and equipment are maintained in good working order and in compliance with local, state and federal regulations.

Facility management – understand and ensure compliance with life safety codes and environment of care requirements and is proactive in managing the facility operations. Maintains center operations in compliance with regulatory requirements and accrediting body standards at all times.

Ensures efficient business office operations. Provide support including (but not limited to): Medical Records, Credentialing, Admissions/Intake, Accounts Payable, Billing, Collections, Insurance Verification, Transaction, Posting, Clinical Logs and other duties. Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, state & local laws/regulations, Trinity Health Integrity & Compliance Program & Code of conduct, other policies & procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical & professional behavior.
