Description:

Provides physician directed therapy, diagnostic evaluation and care of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities associated with the cardiopulmonary system, as set forth by the American Association for Respiratory Care in a home setting.

Respiratory Therapist-Fulltime days

Position Purpose:

Provides physician directed therapy, diagnostic evaluation and care of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities associated with the cardiopulmonary system, as set forth by the American Association for Respiratory Care in a home setting.

What you will Do:

  • Special Skills and Competencies:

  • Requires a willingness to work any assigned eight (8) or (10) hour schedule, overtime as required, and rotating on-call duty as scheduled.

  • Requires the ability to perform a variety of duties characterized by frequent changes.

  • Must be able to function professionally in client's residences where conditions may be less than desirable.

  • Current motor vehicle driving license, and available to travel to client's residences required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education [formal]:

  • Graduation from a respiratory therapy program required.

  • Credentialed by the NBRC at the Certified Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist level required.

  • Compliance with any state certification requirements.

  • Current Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure in the state of Iowa required.

RN-Full time days

Position Purpose:

To provide individualized nursing care at the place of residence/home of clients with acute, chronic and complex conditions.

What you will Do:

  • Analyzes and differentiates clinical data to appropriately diagnose nursing problems; and identify nursing diagnosis.

  • Provides health coaching/education to patients/families and populations focused on achieving lower costs, engaged patients and reduced hospitalizations and ER/Urgent usage.

  • Delivers nursing care for the clients in their homes, utilizing appropriate available resources.

  • Involves the client/caregiver in developing and carrying out the plan of care.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

  • Current state Registered Nurse License or permit from State Board of Nursing required.

  • Completion of ADN required, BSN preferred.

Experience: Must have demonstrated competency in an acute patient care setting for at least one year in medical, surgical or intensive care setting. Home Health, community health, or hospice experience preferred.
