Manages the strategic and coordinated activities associated with proactive, integrated, and effective digital and website marketing solutions. Provides enterprise oversight and leadership of integrated digital marketing strategies aimed at digital growth and consumer engagement. Responsible for select aspects of digital marketing platform technologies and consumer engagement initiatives, setting and gathering of performance metrics, measuring, and modifying to achieve positive return on investment.

Responsible for digital marketing platforms with a focus on Provider Credentialing, CRM and marketing automation (email, mobile) and website solutions. Supports Trinity Health brand initiatives that include digital marketing campaigns and content development. Partners with Regional Health Ministry (RHM) marketing and communications leaders to ensure digital marketing platforms support local brand campaigns and enterprise initiatives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the mission, vision, and values of Trinity Health in leadership behaviors, practices, and decisions.

  2. Creates digital marketing strategies and plans for key technology platforms with a focus on Website Strategy, CRM and marketing automation (email, mobile). Manages the implementation of the digital marketing platforms for RHMs.

  3. Manages the website provider and location update process. Includes online listings and online reputation management strategy. Develops and maintains online directory listings on third-party websites.

  4. Oversees the implementation of digital front door website enhancements across the Trinity Health enterprise.

  5. Oversees Website UX and Content Strategies for the optimization of TH.org and System Wide Web Platforms.

  6. Partners with the RHMs to support the optimization of their online reputation and review initiatives by leading best practice sharing and oversight of the Reputation vendor.

  7. Manages enterprise-wide activities, communication and project management that exceed client, peer, and customer expectations.

  8. Develops and maintains strong working relationships with RHM MarComm colleagues, Digital Marketing COE leaders, MarComm leadership and other stakeholder groups (e.g., Philanthropy, HR/Talent Acquisition).

  9. Partners with IT and other stakeholders on CRM and email development and implementation.

  10. Supports, collaborates, assists and provides guidance to other digital marketing colleagues on an as-needed basis.

  11. Works with marketing colleagues and develops select email, text, and CRM content. Collaborates with writers, the Creative Services COE design staff, and others.

  12. Manages goals and reporting for CRM and email. Provides observations and insights to drive informed decision making.

  13. Leads select vendor relationships including vendor selection, management of day-to-day activities, and evaluations.

  14. Assists with budgets and resource allocation (e.g., financial, people, technology). Develops business cases as required.

  15. Demonstrates accountability for select website marketing and email marketing platform updates, platform administration, and improvements.

  16. Demonstrates a solid foundational knowledge of digital media campaigns that encompass paid media, programmatics and contextual marketing, paid social, display and video.

  17. Leads enterprise-wide meetings discussing performance and creative enhancements as well as communicates to leadership on a regular basis.

  18. Troubleshoots and resolves technical issues related to website, email and digital marketing platforms both internal and vendor provided.

  19. Works with other marketing managers to ensure cross-channel campaign consistency of strategy and message.

  20. Stays abreast of trends and best practices to maximize website, email marketing and other digital campaign efficiency and effectiveness.

  21. Works with the Communications department and RHMs leading various content strategy and planning activities and maintains an enterprise-wide content calendar.

  22. Oversees compliance with email and digital marketing regulations and policies including those specific to health care.

  23. Documents key requirements, decisions, best practices and creates playbooks to onboard, coach, and train colleagues across the enterprise.

  24. Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State and local laws/regulations; the Trinity Health Integrity and Compliance Program and Code of Conduct; as well as other policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical and professional behavior.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Advertising, Communications or related field, with five (5) to seven (7) years work experience in digital marketing, brand, or communications development or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

  2. Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity.

  3. Experienced website and digital marketer who is well-versed in the marketing campaign process – from research to positioning to marketing channel selection and creative development.

  4. Strong aptitude in marketing analytics and techniques including A/B testing, subject line testing, segmentation, list suppression, and other digital marketing optimization techniques.

  5. Experience with Eloqua, Mercury Healthcare CRM and/or other marketing automation and CRM systems.

  6. Organized, reliable, and independent with strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills.

  7. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

  8. Strong writing, presentation, editing and project management skills.

  9. Strong interpersonal skills; ability to provide leadership and counsel to other Marketing leaders throughout the Ministry.

  10. Ability to influence and manage change in a positive and collaborative manner.

  11. An attitude focused on being resourceful, being proactive and getting results.

  12. Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.
