Trinity Health Ultrasound Technologist - Casual in Grand Haven, Michigan

Status: Casual, as needed

What you will need:

Minimum: Graduate of a two-year program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Educational Programs (CAAHEP); P referred: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited CAAHEP program

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification. Certification or re-certification within three months of hire.

Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) (RDCS for Cardiac) (RVT for Vascular) with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS in OB, AB or both) or able to attain credentials within 1 year of hire. Once registered, must maintain registry status in compliance with the CE requirements of their certifying organization for the imaging modality in which they perform services. Preferred: Registry in OB, AB and RVT

What you will do:

  • Able to perform all ultrasound procedures and operate all machines, in a safe and proper manner.

  • Able to assist the Radiologists with invasive procedures.

  • Must be able to articulate exam results, as directed by Radiologist, to Physicians, RN’s, and patients.
