Trinity Health Business Office Supervisor in Grand Haven, Michigan

Description:

Responsible for supervising the day-to-day business office operations and staff. Ensures business office is running smoothly under the direction of the Practice Leader/Manager.

Education;

Minimum: Associate’s Degree in business or applicable field of study; or an equivalent combination of work experience and education.

Preferred :

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Health Care Administration, or comparable.

Credentials/Licensure Minimum: N/A

Related Experience:

Minimum: Three years of progressive experience in a supervisory/leadership role.

Preferred: Basic understanding of medical coding, billing and collections. Experience with process improvement and team engagement initiatives within the ambulatory practice setting. /or similar.

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Minimum: Effective communication skills. Excellent organizational and problem solving skills. Computer Competency: Familiarity with standard desktop and windows based computer system, including email, e-learning, intranet and computer navigation. Ability to use other software required to perform essential functions including practice management systems, EMR or equivalent.
