Trinity Health Monitor Technician Full Time in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida

Description:

Candidate will monitor, interpret cardiac rhythms and rhythm components, and report arrhythmias or any changes to the RN caring for the patient; complete documentation; plus other various duties related to patient monitoring and equipment maintenance on the patient care units.

This is a Modified Full-Time position on night shift (7pm-7:30am) with benefits.

Job Requirements:

Education:

  • High School diploma required

Experience & Skills:

  • Training required through work experience and education.

  • Preferred 1-2 years of previous job-related experience

  • Formal EKG class with a minimum of 24 hours required

  • Completion of Basic Arrhythmia Assessment test with a score of 80% or better

Licensure/Certification:

  • BLS required
