Description:

Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for Full Time Food Service Associates to join our cafeteria team!

Position is a rotating shift, applicants must be able to work weekend and holiday rotations as needed

Food Service Associate

  • Processes diet orders and diet changes for assigned patients.

  • Assists in floor stock maintenance for assigned units.

  • Participates in tray assembly, delivery and retrieval, breaks down after meal service and cleans the kitchen as well as patient trays.

  • Participates in cold food production.

  • Builds and delivers meals to patients, working with patient care staff on floors to best address patients' needs.

  • Additional responsibilities will include operation of dish machine, kitchen sanitation and clean up, cross training in retail operation in the cafeteria (cashier, server, deli).

  • Candidates will need to work with patient tray delivery as well as general kitchen utility work
