Description:
Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for Full Time Food Service Associates to join our cafeteria team!
Position is a rotating shift, applicants must be able to work weekend and holiday rotations as needed
Food Service Associate
Processes diet orders and diet changes for assigned patients.
Assists in floor stock maintenance for assigned units.
Participates in tray assembly, delivery and retrieval, breaks down after meal service and cleans the kitchen as well as patient trays.
Participates in cold food production.
Builds and delivers meals to patients, working with patient care staff on floors to best address patients' needs.
Additional responsibilities will include operation of dish machine, kitchen sanitation and clean up, cross training in retail operation in the cafeteria (cashier, server, deli).
Candidates will need to work with patient tray delivery as well as general kitchen utility work
