Sr. Unit Secretary (Sr. IA) - Schuyler Ridge - Full Time Days
St. Peter's Health Partners is seeking an individual to assist with clerical duties associated with keeping the department running smoothly!

What you will do:
The position for the SPARC Centralized Scheduling and Intake unit has the following primary responsibilities:
Managing office work flow, issue resolution, centralized scheduling, registration, benefits verification, co-pay collections and covering at the SPARC Outpatient Clinics as needed.
Home base may be located in one of the SPARC Outpatient Clinics or at the SPARC Inpatient Rehab, 3 Mercy Care Lane Guilderland NY.
Specific duties include but are not limited to:
Transcription of physician orders
Medical record maintenance
Supply monitor/ordering
What you will need:
High School Diploma or equivalent / Associates Degree preferred
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Information Associate or related healthcare experience.
Patient billing, multiple phone line experience
Positive attitude and be self-motivated
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Previous medical office experience
Attention to detail, multitasking
Applicants must have reliable transportation
Mileage is reimbursed
Pay Range: $17.25- $22.54
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.”
