Trinity Health Critical Care RN Residency Neuro Surgical Trauma ICU in Boise, Idaho

Description:

As part of our Critical Care Residency planned for February 2025, we are looking for an exceptional candidate to join us in our Neuro Surgical Trauma ICU. This position will be located at our Regional Medical Center (https://www.saintalphonsus.org/location/saint-alphonsus-regional-medical-center) off I-184 and Curtis Rd. in the first and only Neuro Surgical Trauma ICU in the state of Idaho. Current nurses looking to transition into the specialty or upcoming nursing graduates are encouraged to apply.

As a resident in the Critical Care Residency, you will:

  • ​Gain experience through Idaho's only critical care residency program that is recognized by the Idaho State Board of Nurse and meets the standards for Department Of Labor's registered apprenticeships

  • Hone your skills and work in a supportive environment while focusing on critical care

  • Receive focused critical care education which includes didactic and hands-on learning philosophies over a 6-month period

  • Have the opportunity to grow and advance in your nursing career

What you can expect:

  • You will receive education that expands the full spectrum of critical care conditions to include heart failure, sepsis, CRRT, hemodynamic monitoring, neuro-trauma/TBI and vasoactive medications

  • You will participate in teachings that include ethics, resiliency, and simulations

  • An experience that will provide YOU the necessary education, skills development, and training to feel competent when caring and responding to critically ill patients

What you will need to start work with us:

  • Current Idaho or multistate RN license required

  • Multistate license must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days from hire

  • An active and unexpired Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider (BLS/HCP) certification from either AHA, ARC, or the Military Training Network

  • Additional certifications may be required depending on the unit
