Description:

Echosonographer , Echo Tech Fulltime with St Mary's Hospital- located at The Exchange Building.

Position Purpose:

Echo Technologist- Echo Tech, Fulltime position, to work in the Radiology Department performing echo procedures at St Mary’s Hospital – in the Exchange Building.

What you will do:

  • Performs all echocardiography examinations including 2D transthoracic, 2D Transesophageal, 3D Transthoracic and 3D Transesophageal.

  • When requested, will perform echocardiograms in the cardiac cath lab and at patient’s bedside.

  • Coordinates inpatient and outpatient workflow and maintains department standards for productivity.

  • Takes call with other Echo Techs’ on a rotational basis

What you will need:

  • Licensure/Certification/Registration : Current registry from a licensed credentialing organization.

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited diagnostic ultrasonography school with advanced registration in echo cardiography is required.

  • Experience: At least 1yr experience as Echo Tech- preferably in a busy Cardiology Office
