Trinity Health Housekeeping - Environmental Services Per Diem in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida

Description:

Performs daily cleaning procedures in patient rooms and other ancillary areas in the hospital including nursing stations, restrooms, offices, etc., utilizing various tools, equipment and chemicals to maintain a sanitary environment. Completes cleaning requests for check-outs and transfers on a daily basis. Responsible for collecting trash and soiled linen to transport to the appropriate storage area. Maintains furniture in patient rooms, offices, and other ancillary areas in an orderly fashion, and observes equipment, furniture, etc., and reports necessary repair or replacement. Maintains work areas, equipment, and supplies in a clean, safe and orderly manner.

Hours / Shifts Available (per diem position with opportunity to become full-time):

  • Days - 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

  • Evenin - 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm

  • Nights - 9:30 pm to 6:00 pm

What you will need:

Prior housekeeping experience preferred.

Must demonstrate the ability to speak, read, comprehend, and write the English language.

Basic computer skills.

Ability to maintain frequent walking, standing, bending, reaching, pushing or pulling and to lift at least 25 pounds.
